Do you retouch photos?
Yes. All photos you receive will be retouched & edited. I do not provide unedited, RAW photos.
How do we get our photos?
Thru one of my favorite photo distributing sites - Pixieset! You will receive an email indicating your photos are done, as well as a link to download all the edited images. Easy peasy!
Can you help us with outfit planning?
Of course - it's my jam! Let me know you'd like assistance with outfit planning in your inquiry & I can pull together a mood board showcasing different outfits for you & your crew.
What props do you provide?
I keep props to a bare minimum to keep the session about the PEOPLE, not the stuff! It also helps keep everyone interactive & as close together as possible. I will bring a few blankets & maybe a box or two to sit on, other than that, it's all about YOU!
Got a special something you want to throw in? No problem! Let me know prior to our session so I can add it to our session agenda!
What is your photography style?
I'm a lifestyle photographer capturing authentic interaction between families. I keep sessions moving (literally) with lots of kid tosses, running, skipping, jumping...all the things. My sessions are strictly "child-led" which means if we need breaks for snacks, we take a break. If he/she wants to play some games during our session, we do just that! Rarely do I have you looking & smiling directly at me. Will we get some of those? Yes! But your session will be mostly about your interaction.
Where will my session take place?
I do not own a studio so my sessions all take place either outdoors or within your home! If newborn, session can take place in your home or as a "fresh 48" within the hospital.
Do you Travel?
I sure do! I am located in SW Wisconsin but I serve the Tri-State area!
Be sure to include your location within your inquiry. Travel rates may apply if you are located 30 miles outside of the Benton, WI area.
How do we book you?
First off, I'm so flattered you are here & are interested in working with me! To book, head over to the "Contact Me" tab & send me a message indicating what type of session you're interested in, as well as your location. Then I'll take it from there!
What should we wear?
Short & sweet - stay away from being "matchy-matchy." Your outfits should represent YOU but not replicate the Bobbsey twins. If desired, I can provide you with styling guidance leading up to our session - don't sweat it!
What time will our session begin?
If we're outside, typically an hour to an hour and a half prior to sunset to get that yummy golden light. If evenings are too late for you, consider a sunrise session - they, too, are equally as beautiful!
If we're inside, typically anytime between 9am-3pm depending on the time of year.
All sessions are shot during the week.
Do you offer mini sessions?
I do not offer year round mini sessions packages; however, I do offer a select number of pop-up mini's throughout the year! When those are offered, I announce them on my Facebook & Instagram page so go give me a follow!
